An Invitation to Blog All Sport - By Keshkan

Good day everyone,

As I had posted in Facebook, I will be writing articles now on in this official ‘All Sport’ (the Facebook page I had created) Blog. To improve the quality of articles, I will be needing people who have a lot of experience blogging or columnists guiding me with their inputs. I love to write about stuff but I admit that when it comes to blogging, I am a bit short compared to other bloggers whose stuff I have read before. I suppose I am not your conventional blogger since there is more substance than style in most of my articles but everyone's different. right? So, I invite anyone who is part of the ‘All Sport’ group on Facebook to write articles over here (Give me a ping on Facebook or WhatsApp) on different languages (those are the ones I know or understand in various degrees) such as English, Tamil, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Hindi

If interested, you could volunteer in helping me out with ideas in this expansion phase in other social media accounts.

I invite you all sports fanatics to write content for All Sport and hope this will be an enjoyable experience

Now let's move on to selections of team India and my personal take on it. During the recently concluded world cup, the amount of criticism of the selection process was nuclear and rightfully so, whether it was the NO.4 debate or batting position of certain players. I just didn't understand why in the semis, MSD comes in at No.7 when at his age, he is more of an anchor than a finisher unlike Pant or Pandya. Ironically, Pant had been sent at No.5 (remember that he was not even in the original squad) when you get the feeling that he is the one who should be finishing matches for us. His strength is aggressive shot making while his ability to the anchor innings. Even you could do better. The score was 15-3 when Pant had been coming in and you would expect a Dhoni to stabilise the innings. So how come can you expect an ageing Dhoni to finish off matches in such high pressure situations coming in at NO.7.This ultimately cost India the world cup.  Let's move on to KL Rahul....

First of all, get used to my blogging style where I don't use fancy words from the dictionary to make it look better and always I talk more substance in my own direct,outspoken way. I am not your conventional blogger is what I will be repeating again and again. I don't care about punctuations (well, only a little bit) in grammar and I am certainly not obsessive about it.I believe I am decent enough in my grammar to write an article on a topic I know well. I am not someone who writes a 400 word article using 300 fancy words where the more "intellectual" you sound,the better it is. So many times,it isn't even properly understood by the reader. I believe if one can be understood clearly in any language, that's enough.I always like to keep it simple and be straight to the point. Please look at VVS Laxman's articles in Times of India or read his autobiography,its a classic example of this simplistic style of writing but I certainly understood that way b...
